Understand the asset.
Define its priorities.

Asset governance begins with a defined information priority. Geometry, inspection observations and records each contribute different evidence. Connect them around the asset, decision and review responsibility.

FIELD INTELLIGENCE. ASSET CONFIDENCE.

Asset Intelligence for Lifecycle Decisions.

Critical assets need more than a collection of images. Marmol brings survey and inspection evidence into an identifiable asset context, connecting location, observed condition and the engineering question. Our field experience informs the capture strategy; the project brief establishes the analytical scope, review responsibilities and information required for the next decision.

Solar PV: evidence for targeted maintenance

Renewable-energy reliability begins with an inspection scope the asset team can use. Marmol’s records include PV-module infrared testing at Ibri II, Amin and Manah 1. We frame new assignments around array boundaries, module references, acquisition conditions and a structured observation register. Thermal findings inform follow-up investigation; fault diagnosis and quantified energy losses require their own technical evidence.

Energy sites: establish the ground for investment

Solar, wind and battery-storage developments depend on a clear understanding of the site. Marmol’s recorded assignments include topographic surveys and specified hydrological or meteorological studies. Survey boundaries, spatial references and study limitations remain with the deliverables, giving the appointed engineering team a traceable basis for planning. Equipment testing and certification remain distinct project scopes.

Grid and industrial assets: prioritize the right evidence

Transmission corridors and operating facilities require inspection evidence tied to the element under review. Marmol’s records include a 400 kV OETC transmission-line assignment and industrial flare-tip inspection. We connect coverage, access constraints and asset references with the reviewer’s information needs. Electrical studies, internal inspection and fitness-for-service assessments require separately defined methods and responsibilities.

Handover designed for engineering review

A valuable handover makes the evidence usable and its origins clear. Agree asset identifiers, imagery, file formats, observation records and acceptance checks before field deployment. Information dates, coverage and limitations remain attached to the record. Operational integrations and update ownership are defined separately; the website’s interactive scenes remain illustrative.

Define the asset, the engineering priority and the decision ahead. Marmol connects field knowledge with a clear technical scope, accountable review and an evidence-led handover.

Which PV modules need closer inspection?

Discuss this scope
Information to define
Infrared observations of PV modules, with identifiers and inspection conditions agreed for the assignment.
Method
UAV infrared testing of photovoltaic modules, within the agreed inspection scope.
Agreed delivery
Agreed thermal imagery, an observation register and a report for review.
Decision context
Support the maintenance team in defining follow-up checks; an observation is not a confirmed fault.
ASSET INTELLIGENCE / RENEWABLE RESOURCES

Measure the resource. Govern the record.

Met Masts, solar meteorological stations and weather monitoring connect instrument configuration, environmental observations and an accountable data handover.

Explore each service by the question it answers, the information it can deliver and the scope to agree before work begins.

Project-defined capture scope

Establish the information foundation for design, modification or handover. Site boundaries, survey control, coverage and acceptance criteria define the capture strategy. Laser scanning and as-built modelling are confirmed against the assignment’s method and delivery responsibilities.

Potential deliverables

Registered point cloud, capture coverage, survey references and agreed as-built drawings or models.

What we agree before execution

Specify survey files, coverage records and any requested drawings or model separately, including limitations and checks.

Inspection evidence supports engineering review. Asset fitness, certification and operational integration require their own agreed assessment scope.
