02 / Asset Intelligence Capability

Met Mast Infrastructure & Renewable Resource Governance.

Marmol Integrated connects engineered meteorological infrastructure with Asset Intelligence, structuring wind and solar measurements into traceable records for renewable-energy development and technical resource review.

Discuss Your Monitoring Campaign
01 / THE ENGINEERING QUESTION

Understand the resource. Establish the evidence.

Renewable-energy investment depends on understanding the conditions that shape the resource. Sensor calibration, exposure, measurement height, logger configuration and missing records all influence how a monitoring campaign can be interpreted.

Marmol’s monitoring scope brings structural installation, instrumentation, commissioning documentation and maintenance into one defined framework. Mast type, sensor selection, campaign duration, communications and acceptance criteria are agreed around the site and the intended technical decision.

01

Wind resource

Multi-level wind measurements and environmental context for a specified resource-assessment campaign.

02

Solar resource

Irradiance, weather and specified module or soiling measurements connected to the PV asset.

03

Renewable development

Traceable monitoring inputs for wind, solar and renewable-generation planning associated with green hydrogen.

02 / MEASUREMENT ARCHITECTURE

One campaign. Defined measurement relationships.

Explore the instrument groups and the metadata that make their records usable. Select a system, then a measurement point to examine its role.

Wind measurement at the required levels.

Guyed or self-supporting lattice masts provide an installation framework for specified wind instruments. Height, boom arrangement, foundation, guying and structural review are defined for the project.

Wind speed

Cup or ultrasonic anemometry at the measurement levels specified for the campaign.

Configuration to agree
Sensor type, height, exposure and the treatment of mast interference.
Record to retain
Instrument identity, calibration evidence and measurement-level register.
03 / ENGINEERED SCOPE

Infrastructure, instrumentation and continuity.

01

Met Mast Engineering

  • Project-defined mast height, foundation and guying or lattice arrangement.
  • Wind instruments and environmental sensors with specified calibration requirements.
  • Lightning protection, earthing and power provision appropriate to the site.
02

Solar & Weather Stations

  • GHI and POA sensors; DNI/DHI instrumentation where specified.
  • Ambient and module temperature, rainfall and commissioned soiling channels.
  • Documented placement, orientation, exposure and acquisition settings.
03

Telemetry & Maintenance

  • Logger configuration and local storage within weather-resistant enclosures.
  • Cellular or satellite communications selected for coverage and campaign requirements.
  • Data checks, maintenance and reporting at an agreed frequency.
04 / DATA CONTINUITY

Keep the record traceable. Make the gaps visible.

Continuity is an engineering requirement to manage and report. Local storage, communications, power arrangements and inspection frequency are specified together. Data gaps, suspect readings and configuration changes remain visible in the campaign record.

Monthly registers can connect the available data with sensor checks and maintenance history where included in the scope. Retain the acquisition record, document quality-control flags and agree how missing or rejected observations are handled.

05 / HANDOVER & ASSET REGISTERS

A resource record the next team can examine.

Agree the deliverables, review ownership and acceptance evidence before the campaign begins.

  1. 01

    Equipment & calibration register

Instrument inventory, serial references and the calibration records required by the scope.

  2. 02

    Installation & commissioning record

Mast or station installation logs, checks and agreed structural documentation.

  3. 03

    Sensor layout & reference plan

Coordinates, datum, measurement levels, orientations and channel references.

  4. 04

    Data continuity register

Available records, gaps, quality-control status and configuration changes for the agreed reporting period.

  5. 05

    Maintenance & inspection log

Field visits, sensor checks, cleaning and corrective actions at the agreed update frequency.
